Listen to My Appearance on the Money Unplugged Podcast
When someone emails you that Morgan Housel recommended you as a podcast guest, you say yes.
One of the joys of writing and sharing my opinions with the world is that every now and then, I get a fun invitation to appear in the media or one someone else’s blog or podcast. That happened a few weeks ago, when Chris Hill, host of the Money Unplugged podcast, emailed me with a request to appear on the pod. His email noted that Morgan Housel recommended me as a guest. I had to say yes.
In preparation for my conversation with Chris, I listened to several of his past episodes. From my colleagues Ben Carlson and Nick Maggiulli, to industry friends Doug and Heather Boneparth, Chris has interviewed many amazing financial professionals. But it was the format and the topics that wheeled me in. I am now a subscriber and a fan.
This is not your run of the mill financial podcast. Chris explores his guest’s early experiences with money. He asks where they grew up and what their parents did for a living. These are the questions we should be asking our clients in order to learn their inherent values and lessons around money. It’s no surprise that I love these topics.
I laid bare some of my most personal money and career stories in this episode. I hope you will enjoy learning a little more about my journey by listening to my conversation with Chris Hill the Money Unplugged podcast.
